A cast marble bathtub has a surface layer that can easily be kept free from dirt, etc. using a soft cloth and a mild liquid eco-friendly detergent. To maintain this surface layer, avoid using scrubbing brushes and abrasive sponges which would dull the material and produce scratches. Treat your washbasin with our unique cleaning polish 4-6 times a year to ensure it remains glossy and water-repellent. If the washbasin becomes scratched or damaged, it can be rubbed down carefully with 600-1200 grit wet sandpaper. Next use 2000 grit wet sandpaper and water to ensure fine sanding. Finish off with polish applied with a soft cloth. A repair kit is available for more serious cases of damage. Avoid using any detergents and products containing abrasive agents, acids, ammonia, acetone or other chemicals (such as scouring powder, hairspray, hair dye, bleach, hair removal cream and nail varnish remover, etc.). If any of the above items should get on the product, they should be removed immediately in order to avoid damage. Ensure that there are no sharp objects in the vicinity of the washbasin that might damage it.
