Tips to a Nature-ing

Cleaning products often contain harsh chemicals, so if you want to think more sustainably and protect the environment, it's easy to replace them with much milder but equally effective products.

Lemon disinfects

Lemon is a great cleaning agent. The high acid content of lemon makes it perfect for antibacterial cleaning. The lemon can also be used as a natural odour remover for smelly drains and sinks. A more natural, environmentally friendly and non-toxic product is hard to find.

You can also get dark copper pipes and chrome-plated surfaces shiny new by scrubbing with a slice of lemon dipped in salt or baking soda

How to clean the toilet

Mix 2 ½ dl of bicarbonate of soda in the toilet bowl and leave it to work for an hour. Then add 2 dl of vinegar and let it work together for about 10 minutes. Flush and enjoy the clean result.

Natural cleaning products for bathrooms

Baking soda can be used as a natural cleaning agent. Another is baking soda, which is a mild base that loosens the grip of bacteria on the surface so they can be easily wiped away. Lemon juice is antibacterial and has antiseptic properties. Combine these natural products and you can easily get rid of dirt and limescale stains in the shower cubicle and washbasin.

Noro showers enclosures

Limescale in the shower

It can seem hopeless to clean shower enclosures with tough limescale stains. Here we share a recipe for ingredients that are good for your health, kind to the environment and easy on the glass.

Mix 1 dl of vinegar with 6 dl of water in an empty spray bottle. Also try adding a few drops of concentrated lemon juice to make oil, grease and mould stains disappear. Spray and wipe with a clean cloth and rinse for a sparkling clean glass surface. Simple and effective.

Tiles and flooring

Dirt, and in the worst case, mould, that settles between the tiles can easily be removed by mixing 1 part bicarbonate of soda with an equal amount of white wine vinegar and a splash of water. On very dirty surfaces, you can also mix in 1 part baking powder and make a thicker paste. Apply this, leave on for 15 minutes and then scrub lightly.
